It’s a sequel that looks extremely ambitious. CI Games recently clarified the release window for Lords of the Fallen 2. The action-RPG will show itself very soon before its launch next year.
In October 2014, CI Games and Deck13 Interactive launched a third-person role-playing game called Lords of the Fallen. This new license was inspired by iconic sagas like Dark Souls or The Legend of Zelda. Unfortunately, the reception was mixed but a sequel is still on the agenda. And this Lords of the Fallen 2 will soon be the talk of the town.
It is through a report published last week that CI Games declared that Lords of the Fallen 2 will be released in 2023. No specific date was mentioned, but the Polish studio announced that it will launch the marketing campaign around its game in the third quarter of 2022. Moreover, this episode will land exclusively on next-generation consoles as well as on PC.
Last but not least, CI Games added that all its future big productions will use the Unreal Engine 5. So, like The Witcher 4 and the next Tomb Raider, Lords of the Fallen 2 will run on the latest engine from Epic Games.
