After being postponed last summer for a release in spring 2022, the Swedish studio has released a video advancing a release date further away than expected.

With a video full of humor presenting the characters we will be able to play in Darktide playing cards, the official release date of the game is finally known. See you on September 13, 2022, on PC and Xbox Series X|S to kill Chaos cultists (and later on PS5)!

This short trailer also takes the opportunity to present a tiny gameplay sequence. It’s an opportunity to see surreptitiously the progress of Fatshark thanks to these many months of additional development. Darktide will be a huge technical step forward compared to Vermintide 2, which is why it will only be released on PC and next-generation consoles.

Let’s bet that the gameplay will also take advantage of the much more modern universe of Warhammer 40,000 to offer us more brutal and bloody fights. All good things come to those who wait, and we are more than ever eager to serve the Emperor on September 13th!
