From March 24-27, interested guerrillas will be able to try out Ubisoft’s latest FPS for free on PC (via Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna, including the intriguing Stranger Things crossover DLC called The Vanishing.

Yara could see a major influx of people this weekend, as Ubisoft will make the entirety of Far Cry 6 free until March 27, including the crossover DLC with the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. Interested PC and PlayStation gamers can already pre-load the game. Unfortunately, the Xbox team is not so lucky.

If newcomers have enjoyed their stay in Yara, it will be possible to extend the adventure and keep their progress by purchasing the game. Ubisoft is offering several deals depending on the platform, including a 50% discount on the Standard, Gold, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions of Far Cry 6. For all the details according to the different platforms, go to the dedicated blog post via the official Ubisoft website.

Getting back to the Stranger Things crossover DLC, this one will offer an experience paying homage to the Netflix series with a similar approach to survival-horror games. Dani will have to survive in a region of Yara corrupted by the Upside Down World, and learn what happened to the inhabitants and the adorable dog Chorizo, who mysteriously disappeared.
