The rumor has been circulating for several weeks and Activision has chosen to confirm it on the sly. Indeed, the American publisher is currently recruiting to develop Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile devices.
Last month, Activision detailed its planning for the Call of Duty license. In addition to making official the sequel to Modern Warfare (2019), which will be released this year, the firm also announced several changes for Warzone. The battle royale will benefit from a new mode, as well as a sequel that should be presented very soon. But that’s not all…
On the site dedicated to its FPS saga, Activision has posted various job offers regarding Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile. The game is presented as “an all-new AAA mobile experience that will bring the thrilling, fluid and the large-scale action of Call of Duty®: Warzone™ to players on the go.“. Producers, programmers, artists and other managers are currently being sought to work on this ambitious project.

For the moment, we don’t know the release date of this Call of Duty: Warzone on mobile. So we’ll have to be patient while waiting for Activision to make a statement in due form.
