Battlefield 2042’s most-requested feature has been delayed, again

Almost five months after its release, Battlefield 2042 will finally welcome a feature that should have been present from the start… but you’ll have to wait a little longer.

The scoreboard, an essential element of multiplayer FPS, will not arrive this week as planned by DICE.

The beginning of the year 2022 has been very problematic for Battlefield 2042. After an emergency injection of patches to fix the many problems the game suffers from, DICE’s latest title has been left bleeding like a Homeless man asking to be revived. Despite the patches, the game is still far from being stable and perfectly playable, so much so that the first season of content had to be massively postponed.

The next patch, expected this week and whose most important addition was the much-requested scoreboard, is in turn subject to a postponement, fortunately not as long. In a forum post, the PartWelsh community manager at DICE said that the new patch will finally arrive next week.

In addition to a scoreboard that will display Deaths alongside Kills, following feedback from the community, the 3.3 update will include “a small range of additional fixes” and an exclusive legendary bundle for those who bought one of the most expensive editions of the game.

This is a little attention from DICE that certainly echoes the petition asking for a refund for a game that is still far from being finished. This petition had already gathered more than 100,000 signatures in a few days!
