Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Shows Off Bosses, Magic, and Mayhem in 20 Minutes of Gameplay

Expected on March 25, 2022, the spin-off of the famous franchise that gave its letters of nobility to the FPS looter shooter offers itself a video that presents in detail its gameplay.

It’s an opportunity to see the title in action and how this crazy role-playing game orchestrated by the no less crazy but awesome Tiny Tina will be articulated.

Recorded in 4K on the console, this 20-minute gameplay sequence allows us to see the substance of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands in action. Unlike classic games like Borderlands 3, our progression in the world of this spin-off will be through a map largely inspired by J-RPGs. Our character will take the form of a pawn with an exaggeratedly large head to move through the world, obtain quests and find treasures.

When our character stumbles upon a key location, the action switches to the usual form of the franchise: first-person view. We were able to see the game run cooperatively, as well as different spells and weapons used to defeat a varied bestiary and two bosses. Defeating a key location will of course be an opportunity to collect a lot of loot, among which hand-to-hand weapons, a first in the franchise!

Note that this long gameplay sequence was recorded with the controller in 4K. The fluidity of image and movement is clearly not there. This sample is not necessarily very flattering, but Borderlands fans should find their little ones here. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is expected at the end of the month on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
